Privacy notice
Effective date: 23 October 2026
This notice explains how we handle personal information collected through assurlytic.ai. We keep it short because the site collects very little.
Who we are
Assurlytic is operated by Assurlytic Inc., a Delaware corporation. Mailing address: 110 Pique Loop, Unit 102, Folsom, CA 95630, USA. Assurlytic Inc. is the controller of the personal information described here, which means it decides how and why that information is used.
For any privacy question or request, email contact@assurlytic.ai.
What we collect
When you use the contact form, we collect what you enter: your name, work email, company, which option describes you, and your message if you write one.
When the form is sent, a security check (Cloudflare Turnstile) looks at technical signals from your browser and device to tell people apart from automated bots. It does not ask you to solve a puzzle in most cases.
When you visit the site, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites. Like any website, our hosting provider also processes your IP address and basic browser information to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks.
We do not ask for sensitive information, and we ask you not to include any in your message.
Why we use it, and on what basis
| What we do | Why | Legal basis (GDPR) |
|---|---|---|
| Read and reply to your enquiry, and arrange a call | You asked us to get in touch | Steps you request before any contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries |
| Keep a record of enquiries | To follow up and avoid asking you the same things twice | Legitimate interest |
| Block spam and automated submissions | To keep the form usable and secure | Legitimate interest in protecting the site |
| Count visits without cookies | To understand which pages are useful | Legitimate interest |
We do not sell your information, share it for advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask.
Who sees your information
Your enquiry is read by the Assurlytic founders, Darrell Flewell and Michael Meskes. We use a small number of service providers who process information only on our instructions:
- Cloudflare, Inc. hosts the site, runs the contact form, performs the Turnstile security check, provides Web Analytics, and forwards form emails to our inbox.
- Google LLC (Google Workspace) stores the emails we receive and send.
- Airtable, Inc. stores a record of enquiries so we can follow up.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to a successor business if Assurlytic is reorganized or sold, in which case this notice would continue to apply.
International transfers
Assurlytic Inc. is based in the United States, and our service providers process data in the US and other countries. Michael Meskes, who also reads enquiries, is based in Germany. If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, your information will be transferred to the US.
Where a provider is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, we rely on that certification. Otherwise, and as a backup, we rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses in our providers’ data processing terms. You can ask us for more detail on these safeguards.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries and our replies for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you become a client, in which case our client agreement applies. Turnstile and security data is kept only briefly by Cloudflare under its own retention rules. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Access to enquiries is limited to the founders, and our accounts with service providers are protected with strong passwords and two-factor authentication.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie if it detects unusual traffic; this is used only to protect the site.
Our use of AI
Assurlytic is an AI governance business, so we hold ourselves to the standard we help others meet. We do not paste your enquiry into consumer AI tools. If we use AI to help draft a reply, we use business-tier services whose terms prohibit using your information to train their models, and a person always reviews and sends the reply.
Children
This site is for businesses and is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you have the right to:
- see the information we hold about you and get a copy
- correct it if it is wrong
- have it deleted
- restrict or object to how we use it, including where we rely on legitimate interests
- receive it in a portable format
- complain to your local data protection authority. In Germany, for example, that is the authority for your federal state.
If you are in California, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to ask us to delete or correct it, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in California law.
Wherever you are, email contact@assurlytic.ai to make a request. We will reply within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first, usually by replying from the email address you used with us.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice when what we collect or how we use it changes. The effective date at the top shows the latest version.
